Artista cria arte com papel higiénico e faz 300 flores para bienal de Cerveira

<p>Uma artista brasileira criou uma peça de arte, composta por mais de 300 flores feitas com 1.200 metros de papel higiénico, que vai estar exposta, a partir de sábado, na Bienal Internacional de Arte, em Vila Nova de Cerveira.</p> <p>A obra de Daniela Steele, intitulada "Parede de Flores" utiliza folhas de papel higiénico para forrar a parede com 320 flores, provocando, segundo a autora, uma sensação de "leveza e romantismo", explicou hoje, em comunicado, a empresa de Viana do Castelo que forneceu aquele material e que, por dia, só em papel higiénico, produz quatro milhões de rolos.</p> <p>Mais de 600 obras, de 500 artistas de 35 países vão estar em exposição, a partir de sábado e até 16 setembro, na 19.ª Bienal de Arte de Vila Nova de Cerveira, no Alto Minho.</p> <p>Com o tema "Da Pop Arte às Trans-Vanguardas, Apropriações da Arte Popular", o evento, que será inaugurado no sábado pelo ministro da Cultura, Luís Filipe Castro Mendes, no cineteatro daquela vila, às 16:00, vai, este ano, homenagear a pintora Paula Rego.</p> <p>A obra "Parede de Flores" vai estar exposta junto à entrada da sala principal de exposições da Bienal, no Fórum Cultural de Vila Nova de Cerveira.</p> <p>Segundo a artista brasileira, citada naquela nota, a peça, que demorou três dias a criar, pretende "mostrar que, com papel higiénico, um produto necessário, mas que não é valorizado pela maioria das pessoas, se consegue criar uma obra bonita e com valor artístico".</p> <p>De acordo com Daniela Steele, esta obra vai ao encontro do tema da Bienal de Arte mais antiga do país, "tendo em conta que até as flores foram feitas à mão e de forma individual, não sendo por isso todas totalmente idênticas".</p> <p>"E de repente estamos perante uma obra feita com papel higiénico, que todos usam mas [a que] ninguém liga", contou.</p> <p>Com trabalhos expostos em países como Brasil, Portugal, Argentina, França, Grécia e Alemanha, Daniela Steele desafiou a Suavecel, empresa transformadora de papel, em Viana do Castelo, a colaborar com esta criação artística, através da gama mais alta do papel higiénico produzido na empresa.</p> <p>Além da pintora Paula Rego, a edição 2017 da bienal homenageará ainda o artista Ernesto de Sousa (1921-1988) e o escultor Jaime Azinheira (1944-2016).</p> <p>O programa da bienal, que teve o escultor José Rodrigues como um dos fundadores, incluirá representações de 14 universidades, escolas superiores e politécnicos das áreas artísticas, artistas convidados nacionais e estrangeiros com curadorias nacionais e internacionais, espetáculos, conferências e debates, ateliês, oficinas, visitas guiadas, entre outras ações.</p> <p>Em 2015, a Bienal de Arte Vila Nova de Cerveira recebeu mais de 80 mil visitantes, nos 12 espaços que acolheram mais de 500 obras de arte, assinadas por quatro centenas de artistas de 33 países.</p> <p>Segundo a organização, o orçamento da última edição rondou os 450 mil euros, suportados pela câmara local, pela Direção-Geral das Artes e por patrocinadores.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Fonte: https://www.dn.pt/lusa/interior/artista-cria-arte-com-papel-higienico-e-faz-300-flores-para-bienal-de-cerveira-8636845.html</em></p>
